Chrysler Town & Country Van~~~Garage Door Remote Hidden in the Ceiling?

Hi! My Dad has a Chrysler Town and Country van and I guess the remote control for the garage door has been nestled somewhere in the vehicle....so that when you push the "button" inside the van the garage door goes up. Well, now it's time to sell the van and my Dad doesn't know exactly where that remote was nestled inside his vehicle. Does anyone have any clues for me to help him locate it and remove it???? I thank you for your help!!!

The opener is built into the van, to my knowledge there is no way to physically remove it.The owner's manual has instructions on how to "clear" the memory.

dodge has this neat little feature.its not something you can remove i think. its optional and not sure exactly how it works, read about it in my bosses owners manual for his crew cab dually,that and it came with 1 yr free xm radio but he didnt turn it on because he didnt know(build sheet for that)
