ok my brother bought this 97 town and country that did not run, we put on a battery complete brake job, sway bar links, just to get it drivable. but yet we no have issues with the shifting of the trans. it shifts from 1 to 2 but only if you let off the gas. someone told me the trans speed sensor i guess it has 2 though. so what one do i replace? also i herd one was on the inside of the trans so im not sure if that is a novice job. the other issue is the coil pack has a toggle switch, you have to have the toggle on in order for the van to start and run. im guessing the ignition switch? if any one can give me some input on these issues and info on how to change the inner trans switch or if i should attempt it that would be great.
