Please help me (please if you know what you are talking about)
- Got a automatic 01 sebring coupe. put the trans in reverse and it backed up fine, then switched to drive and it didnt respond at all. So it has been stuck in neutral. Looked at the tansmission fluid and it was pretty low, so i filledit with a whole bottle. still nothing.
- BUT JUST NOTICED THAT WHEN ITS IN "D" AND NOT MOVING, WHEN I REV THE ENGINE FOR 2 SECONDS, THE CAR MOVES AND IT GOES. then the check engine light came on.
- the car only moves when i hit the gas pedal really hard and rev the engine for a bit.
should i throw it away since the transmission is gone ? or is this something else ??
