I would like to know the similar parts of a 1985 2.2L turbo I and 1993 2.5L. I am planning on using the turbo from the 2.2L out of a 600 ES Turbo for a Dodge Spirit with the 2.5L, I was told the heads are the same but blocks are different and I would be able to do the conversion. I would like to know from someone truely experienced with the K motor because I heard it from my uncle who works at Honda. I know it won't be a drastic jump in power and mods will be needed, along with tuning, but this car is a daily driver for my fiance and more than 100 hp would be nice. Also, I am not going to buy some expensive set-up for a turbo because the 600 is already available to me and if it doesn't work then the motor stays as is. Thank you for your answers and please don't critize why I want to do this, seeing as it will never be raced, I just would like a little more power out of it.
The heads are the same? If they are, are the intake and exhaust the same? Would they line up with each other and could I just use my same head for the swap? Thanks again for the info!
