Chrysler buy-out employees-would you take it?

My husband works at the Fenton Plant, MO and rumor has it, its CLOSING! Does anyone have any inside information on this? They have offered employees a buyout some are 100K and 140K BEFORE taxes or a transfer (which there are no openings). If they filed bankruptcy and union contracts are out the window to be re-neg. What would you do? Does anyone have insight on this and ideas. We are so confused about what to do. Would love opinions on this. Oh, and they gave us 18 days to make this life changing decision!
 
does your husband have a trade to fall back on?I would take it and run if he had something to back him up...most likely it will close.They will lay off people ..beter to have some money to fall back on.
