I have the choice between a 2001 Chrysler 300m and a 2001 Ford Mustang. Both around the same price, same miles.

I like both for different reasons, so I'm not biased one way or the other between the two. Personally though If i were in your shoes I'd go with the 300M. Mustangs are a dime a dozen. Not nearly as many 300M's out there. It's sexy and stylish. Will be better on gas than the Mustang and probably cheaper to insure. I'm more of a luxury car guy than sports car guy.

~Um first of all, the 2001 Chrysler 300M has a relatively outdated look, shark-nosed front end and looks alittle out of place. Therefore, you would be better off with a newer model of the 300M, for example, a 2005 300M.
~All Mustangs are very special, they have the heritage and vintage roots of its fore-fathers. Also, Mustangs have holds their values very well, compared to it's competitors. One draw back, is that, you may need to have the car maintained once or twice each year. Other than that, the car is fun to drive, rides well, and will not disappoint you.
~The FINAL VERDICT: In my opinion, I would advise you to go for the Mustang if you are very set on getting one of the 2 cars you have listed.
