my engine light came on seems to be driving good, it isnt flashing they say if its flashing then major problem what all is associated with this light it dings once, its a 2005

on newer cars there is atleast 100 things that can turn on that darn engine light.
take it somewhere they can read the code. if it is flashing, that means it is misfiring or dumping fuel.

its a warning to check engine or have it check might not be a major problem but then again it might be any time you have a light warning you to check you should check
yellow lights a warning of a problem
red tells you to stop driving right then
