I am a new meraber, I work as a nurse and have had bilateral buttocks pain for 17 mos. The pain occurs with sitting and laying down, no pain with standing and walking. Several MRI's have shown some DJD but nothing that would cause the type of problems I am having. A recent MRI of my pelvis raised the issue that the tendons that attach to my hamstrings are inflamed causing tendonitis. I will try more PT for this issue. In the meantime, I have a new issue with my TENS unit. I have been using a TENS unit quite successfully for 15 mos. The past 2 mos. I have developed major skin rashes where the electrodes attach to my body. I have ordered from different manufacturers but the rash continues. The itch is unbearable and I am now unable to use the TENS at all. I have been prescribed Nortriptyline 50 mg qd for the pain which helps slightly but not much. Also taking 240 mg Motrin qd. Nothing really works. I am at my wits end. Thanks for any help you may offer.
