Hello, my husband started having severe pain in both calves and shins about a year ago. They would burn, ache and he describes it as feeling like someone hit him with a stick. He went to the dr, they did the normal blood tests and found that his vitamin D was very low. So we fixed that and now it's in the normal range. He has had the artery tests, the blood pressure tests, he is not diabetic, his veins have been tested. The pain is still there and over the past few months it has moved into his thighs and now it is in his feet. He has had a MRI of his back to make sure there was nothing pinching also. All of the tests have come back normal. The doctors are at a loss but this is becoming debilitating for him. He is missing more and more work because he is in so much pain. They have him on gabapentin (sp?) which does nothing. I would be so thankful if anyone could give me something to research and bring to the drs. I have done my own research and have found nothing that sounds like what he is dealing with.
Thanks for listening.
