Hello, I am looking for any similar experiences to the pain I am having. It has me quite nervous....I read so much on blood clots so I want to make sure I am not overreacting.
A little history, I have a very bad back...two herniated discs in the lower lumbar spine. I have had several cortisone injections, facet blocks etc....and most recently (about 4-5 months ago) I went to a chiropracter.
Looking back, this pain has really been here since the chiropracter visit.
The pain is worse at night when I lay down, although I have been having it through out the day here of late. I am a 35 yo female. The pain is on my right side groin, kind of hard to explain but basically right in the crease from my leg to my private area. It it deep inside the groin. It is not what i would call sharp, but can be....mostly it is a burning pain. Like I said, I have had this for about 5 months now.....and I am starting to worry about it. I thougth it might just go away over time. My question is, can the herniated discs be hitting a nerve (sciatic) and cause the pain....or I really worry about blood clots etc. Any similar experice will help me. I go to my Dr in two weeks and plan on bringing this up.
Thanks in advance
