Hi Spineys..
I have just recently quit taking pain meRAB after almost 4 years of chronic back pain (wanted to quit as my hubby and I want to start a family).
I am now just relying on Tylenol and Advil, for the daily-ongoing-pain. I have had (2) Microdiscectomy surgeries in the past 3 years...I am so over being in pain, every single day of my life.

Any other meRAB you can recommend for chronic back pain?

Thanks in advance!!

I believe most doctors do not allow aspirin or motrin when you become pregnant so you might want to check that out. Maybe an antidepressent ?

Instead of meRAB, you could try:

*massage
*accupuncture
*swimming pool
*cold packs
*heating pad
*biofreeze/caspician creme/ben gay/icy hot (check to make sure all ingredients are okay for pregnant women)
*physical therapy - stretching
*biofeedback
*tens unit
*relaxation tapes
*walking
*practice good posture
*watch pregnancy weight gain overall
*natural herbs - talk to your doctor

Hope this helps

I too tried the same thing you are doing and am now pregnant.

My OB has said that I can take vicodin and flexoril but to use it sparingly.

Good Luck.
