anyone have chronic asthama where you have to take an inhailer every day?
I was diagnosed with everyday asthma about 5 months ago. no wheezing, just chest tightness, heavyness upper back pain and tightness and difficulty exercising because I coulnt breath. I dont smoke, and had a perfect peak flow meter and lung function test and tested negative to all allegries. Orginally I thought this was a thyroid thing since i also have hypothyroidism, however I was put on syrabicort to use every day twice a day and now I feel almost completly normal. i can actually do cardio and not colapase with breathing problems.
I was wonding if people who take an inhailer every day need to take it the rest of there lives? and if so are there any side effects. apparently I heard something about the fact that some peoples airways just dont stay open unless they are on the inhailer every day.
