Hi.
I'm planning on doing some chromatography art with my pupil.
I need the chromatography to take some time, i mean, i don't want the process to end in a few seconds, i'd like my pupil to be able to notice that it takes time to make the colors spread.
Also, i'd like (i don't know if it is possible) to make the chromatography without the paper actually touching the liquid.
Also, if the chromatography could make the colors to spread in circle it would be nice, like it would start from the center of a disc and spread in circle.
Now, here are my questions : is that even possible to do that ? What material should i use ? Coffee filter for paper ? And what liquid ?
