Christopher Nolan Confirms Batman 3

Nolan's Batman is still in his early years, he's still establishing himself in Gotham. I think Nolan said that he sees no place for Robin at this stage in Batman's career.

Re: Tom Hardy. I hope this news is true because he's a great actor. Would be happy to see him in this film.

Christopher Nolan confirmed today that he will be Directing Batman 3 . Here

Fantastic news. Wonder if it'll be in 3-D ? ( Good / Bad )

Who's gonna be the villain / who will play him or her ?

I think Robin doesn't translate to screen very well but in the hanRAB of the right director - and Christopher Nolan could pull it off if he's willing to open his mind a little - something really interesting could be done with the character, especially once he grows up and becomes Nightwing.

Sadly, I think Robin was so badly cast and misused in Batman Forever/Batman & Robin, the majority of the public will make judgement without seeing what the character could be like if handled properly.

I think I saw it on the IMDB trivia page for The Dark Knight but apparently the character of Rachel Dawes had a line in which she said she was a reletive to Dick Grayson but this was cut because some people woul;d of been hyped for his appearence.

I personally hope Joseph Gordon Levitt is The Riddler (although I also want Hardy in the film) but I think Levitt is a brilliant actor and would love to see him in such a bizarre role (for him). Hardy I think would also be fgood as a villain the penguin perhaps if they did a mobster thing with the character with his nickname being the penguin

The Dark Knight Rises? That's pish! Come on, you can do better than that Nolan!

You may as well have called it The Dark Knight 2!

i thought this was revealed ages ago.
wont watch it in 3d, if its in 3d....
but i actually doubt it will be.

but all films may be realeased that way by then :(

So glad that Nolan isn't a sell out like too many directors are these days.

The title is a bit rubbish, but it's just a title - I don't really see it as something to get worked up about!

I'm trying too hard not to speculate about the villains, though it would be awesome if they were going with Hugo Strange as some are hoping. Tom Hardy could totally pull that off.

Can't really see the villain being a huge factor anyway. The first story was all about Batman's origins, Liam Neeson's bad guy was pretty interchangeable but that was fine, the story wasnt about that.

Then the second film was THE big bad villain story. I can't see anyone outdoing Heath's performance and I think Nolan will try to take emphasis away from focusing on the bad guy.

I know Tom Hardy is a great actor, Im sure his performance will be stellar but to me I don't really care who the villain is, I don't think the movie will be centered around it.

Don't get me wrong, it wasn't awful to me, but too much of the plot lacked logic in my opinion. It seemed like he was trying to pack too much into too little time. And I found it a bit too dark and depressing at times.

I also didn't like Christian Bales "uber morals" character, his stupid voice or so-so acting. I didn

Most pleased to see that it won't be in 3D, and well done Nolan for not being a shmucky 3D sell-out.

As for the title - cue Viagra jokes, trouser bulges and the like. ;)
