Christmas gift ideas for my outdoors-ey brother?

i know its a little late for xmas shopping but all ive gotten for my brother are wool fingerless gloves and i need more. He loves the outdoors and lives in the scenic area in Washington and loves hiking and what not. i looked around REI but im hopeless cause im NOT an outdoor person, any ideas? he's 25 and the budget is anything under 30 preferably
