covet (for example)...? Okay, I can understand to not be so susceptible to flattery. However, this confirms that someone will always have more (I know! DUHHH! But, that commandment just CONFIRMS it). So, since the Bible is something that's very ancient... Does this means that all the less fortunate, poor & the poorer were MEANT to suffer? Is it wrong to be inspired to want to have more? It sounds materialistic, but reality is... It's a VERY materialistic world. I personally don't agree that success is measured by THINGS. A lot of Christians ask God for stregnth to "get through" school or work... Simply so they could be in a place where they're able to have MORE one day. Of course everyone does not follow those commands. I'm just saying... Is this Life already written? It seems like it is & if it is... Are people really at fault for what all goes on today?
I saw GOOD comments & sorry in advance for not knowing which one to choose as best answer. All in all... I wish the world wasn't so corrupt. Sorry if the question has offended anyone. We're all sinners! I get that! Still, when people go to Church & pray... I don't think they're praying for all the right things. I'm just someone who's trying to understand things. Thank you. Thank you for pointing out others things that don't come to mind when I have a question. I may not find all answers to everything, but it's important for me to UNDERSTAND how things work
