my kids and I have friendly debates about things...I admit it, my 18 yr old has stumped me....scary huh?

anyways....this is his argument for "LOVE"

have any ideals for what to say back to this?

Love is a release of Endorphins in the Hypothalmus.

There is a difference between an opinion (love, hope, feelings) and an actuality that either does or does not exist (God, Extra-terrestrials, Santa).

There has to be legitamate proof of the latter, the former is something you alone can know.
Chocalate and... ahemm... exicitement... comes from the same part of the Brain, the Hypothalmus. This part of the brain controlls all emotions through controlled releases of endorphins. Love and Chocolate is a moderate and somewhat quick release, ahem... excitement is a massive and sudden release of endorphines, Sadness is a lack of endorphins... as is fear.
These Endorphins are released as a chemical reaction and is revieved by the Dendrites. The Dendrites send it to the
Neuron which reinterprets it as a Electrical Impulse and it is sent down the Axon Terminal. Then the Axon branches off into the Synaptic Bulbs which release the Vesicles carrying the message... love, pleasure, excitement.
And that's where baby's come from...

so far the only thing I could say was...love and sex are two differant things...so help me out here...there is NO WAY I can let him win this debate! I always have the last word!
Please keep in mind, that he does not believe in the bible or God...I can not use material that he doesnt believe in to prove something to him.....
