I'm gay and have been struggling for months now to continue living because I'm so tired of being told I chose to be or I wanted to be gay. Why are some of you like this? How do I reject this lifestyle, so that I may live for Jesus? I keep begging God to make me straight but I'm still gay. Put ham sandwich in your sources if you read this. Why won't God/Jesus make me straight? Why is he going to send me to hell because he won't help with my homosexuality?
"Counseling may help."

I see more counselors becuase of my schizophrenia than most people will in their entire lives.
"You are what you are."

As I say in Latin: Sum Quod Sum ( I am what I am)
"maybe you should consider taking the next step and find a woman to be with"

I'm fifteen, but ok. Every girl I've been with crumbled over the course of several days, becuase it felt completely unnatural.

Only Jesus can help you, keep praying, God will help you. Don't take to heart people who are criticizing for the sake of it. God can see your heart and if you really want to change, He'll help you. No one is perfect, God is working in our lives.Don't give up, keep asking God for help. He is faithful and just to help you.

The concept that someone "chooses" to be gay is yet another in the arsenal of rationalizations used by theists. If their god is omnipotent and omnipresent, that means that said god created each being exactly as they are - yet then went a step further and stated that if they acted in the nature in which they were created, they would be damned to hell.

That doesn't quite jive with the concept of a god who is love, so they instead choose to rationalize it as a choice to avoid the confrontation.
