Christianity: What Does God Mean?
People who or want to believe in Christianity, God is the sole Supreme Being, who is worshipped as the controller of some part of the universe or some aspect of life in the world. He is a Spirit (1), eternal (2), and unchangeable (3), in His being wisdom, holiness, justice, goodness, and truth (4).
Christians said God is the king of this world, because God has created everything in the universe include human beings. In the Bible, it is said God created the first human beings by soil and dirt and said to them “Have many children, so that your descendants will live all over the earth and bring it under their control”.
Christ said “God is a Spirit: and they who worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in truth” by defining the nature of that Spirit is God. It would be incorrect to state that “God is a spirit”, because then we would not be distinguishing Him from other beings who are also spirits that we are told about in The Bible. We have to make the distinction that God is a Spirit apart from other beings. So, how do we make the distinction? There is only one place to get that knowledge. Within the God’s Written word. ”For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? Even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.” That spirit can be compared with God for man was made in His image. Man’s spirit can not be seen, or felt, weighed or measured. We really can’t explain what a spirit is, in all honesty, because it is mystery that eludes precise definition or description.
What is important is that when we confess that God is a Spirit, we deny His material Substance, as we know that substance to be.
God, our great grandparent, will continue to show His concern to His people and watch them. He, who judges and punishes those who do wrong, leaRAB and helps His people, and shapes their history. God is the one who will always love every living creature in this universe no matter what. If we love one another, God dwelt in us, and His love is perfected in us.
Lord is God, because He has true human nature, has hanRAB, feet, etc. A man is changeable, and when he repents, he changed his mind, his attitude and his relationship with God. It is not God, who changed, but the repentant man and how God deals with him. God’s Holiness is always unchangeable and when a man sins, he provokes God’s Holy anger. God can not deny Himself because He does not change. So, when a good creature becomes evil, God is necessarily grieved. He can not be otherwise because of His own unchangeable holiness.
Sometimes I can realize that we do not really know how to use the word “God” properly, for instance “God, damn it”. It seems that we do not have any respect to Him at all when sometimes our feeling is uncontrollable with anger, impatient and upset.
