im a christian and im unsure of the type of music that is ummm acceptable, for christian to listen to..
E.g i listen to stuff like Metallica, Slayer, Iron Maiden, Avenged Sevenfold, System of a down, trivium, sliplknot, paramore, BFMV, KSE and to be continued... i even get into black metal, which i have found is anti christian music... i love listning to stuff like Here comes the kraken, the black dahlia murder, white chapel, as blood runs black.... i love listening to worship music as well but is listning to metal and stuff acceptable for a christian... i was raised with this music and i cant be seperated.... do you have any opinions....
my understanding of this is, if the music doesnt have anything to do with satan overpowering jesus, or if it isnt heiling the devil in anyway then its ok to listen too.. but thats how i see it... opinions would be good
P.S i never swear ever but i dont mind listning to it... is that as bad as swearing itself...
plus i need help with writing christian songs.... what words make a song, a christian song... do i use direct quotes from the bible or just make it up..
