I'm looking to buy a good bike but since this will be my first purchase, could use some insight. I'm thinking I might like a hybrid, for riding on pavement, dirt roads and maybe a little off road (not too extreme). I am an average sized woman, about 5'6". Do I need a women's bike? What brands/styles have you liked? Features to look for? Any other suggestions? I'm looking to spend about $250.
