I cannot get over this problem. Okay i do not choke constantly....I just think about it and now it feels more like a fear. I basically avoid ANYTHING that needs a long time to chew. i never had this problem before, I never even thought about it. I used to eat tons of salami on sandwhich breads and now I can't even think to eat it. Is it all in my head? I was looking at a sandwhich roll I had and it looked and felt stale, and I kept thinking I can't eat it like this - I'll choke on it. So I cut it into inch-size pieces and broiled it a bit and ate it like that with some olive oil.
