No. Oil causes pimples.

Eat your chocolate...as long as you drink water and keep up with washing your face, it shouldn't cause you any problems.

i dont think chocolate causes pimples but i am sure that at least for me nuts do.. :(

for eight months i had no nuts in my diet and i was fine.. but then i started craving them. and added walnuts in my salad.. good stuff but i started breaking out shortly after that...

Chocolate definitely makes me break out every time. For a while I was eating tons of dark chocolate and my face was just getting worse and worse. My scalp started to itch as well. If you think that chocolate might be causing your acne I would definitely cut it out for a while and see if it improves. Then eat some and see what happens.

i want to know if any body is allergic to nuts .do you get breakouts? and how can you treat it? thank you for your time......

If you search the net, you will find plenty of sites claiming it doesn't. However, as a personal experience, when I consume chocolate, I break out with pimples. I do not know if it's the chemicals that manufacturing companies include with the chocolate, or if it's something else that my body just doesn't like about the chocolate. For me, as far as I'm concerned, eating chocolate DOES cause pimples.

Think of it this way: If I'm an indigenous tribal person living deep in the Amazon rainforests all my life and I've never seen a snowstorm before, I'd say snowstorms are a myth, much like people whose skin don't respond negatively to "chocolate" say that "chocolate" doesn't cause pimples.

Much like a person may be able to eat shellfish, someone else may be allergic to shellfish. An ignorant person who isn't allergic to shellfish may come to the conclusion that it's a myth that humans can die from eating shellfish due to allergies. That is the wrong conclusion because some people can and do die from eating shellfish because they are allergic to shellfish! For you, it may be different. My reality is not your's. For me, I know eating "processed chocolate" causes pimples.

Someone mentioned that "oil" causes pimples, chocolate doesn't. Perhaps the chocolate produces the oil that causes the pimples???

Whenever I eat pizza, the next day my skin is "extra" oily. I do believe there are fooRAB that "come out" in your pores (much like if you put a clove of garlic in your shoe you will taste it in your mouth in no time).

My 2 cents. 8)
