If not can someone point me in the right direction for the steps to full flash a chocolate? Thank you

Yeah that'll work look for the 8500 dll usually works smoother, but heck the 9900 dll does it... but yeah is the same method for alot of other LGs from Verizon also

hey just curious.I have a chocolate on cricket too. and i am planning to use these same directions but i cant get my LG Download to work. what version do you have? I have the 1.3.6.3 version and after trying to get into NV edit mode, it changes my phone to DM, nothing else happens. what happened with yours? i cant get the tabs that are required to do all the things...like the screenshots.on mine no tabs come up.

I have the same version of LG download. Do you have the 8500 DLL? Did you load the DLL? After you load the DLL you should be able to go into nv_edit Click on NV_edit start it will put your phone is DM mode and read the phone once it reaRAB the phone you should see the screen just like the tutorial

yeah i have the 8500 dll and the 9900 dll because some people were saying to use that dll. i can get it into dm mode but after that the tabs like in the tutorial dont show up. may i ask where you got your LG download from? i think mine might be a bad copy or something. if you want you can PM me just to be safe.
