Chocolate Souffle with apples: would it work?

Ok, so say I'm making a chocolate souffle. I am going to make it how you usually make it, BUT, I thought I could give it a twist by putting near the bottom an apple ring (fresh cut). Would you try this, have you tried this, or would you recommend me doing it?

if it works with strawberries then it will work with apples

the question is how would you arrange it? i mean what will it look like?

like chocolate covered strawburries you could make chocolate covered apple wedges.
but apples will turn brown in air so dip them in lemon juice first.

In my mind, the flavors would be great. But in a souffle, I'm thinking the apples might lend too much moisture and not let the souffle set right or not at all. Maybe chopped dried apples?
