I wish to duplicate as close as possible, the spicy barbacoa beef that you get at Chipotle restaurants.
The website states: Barbacoa. Spicy, shredded beef, seared, then slowly braised for hours in a blend of chipotle adobo, cumin, cloves, garlic and oregano.
I was hoping for a little help from some Chipotle "insiders" or those very experienced in Mexican cooking.
I have several ideas from the internet of what spices to use but I'm looking for more precise information if possible.
My intent is too use a crock pot. I'm open to any ideas.
Thanks, Jack
