I'm not Chinese and I can't claim to know too much about the culture. My brother's girlfriend is Chinese and the two of them just got the keys to their new house. For Christmas I wanted to get something that means good luck in love or in your home, like the lucky cat (but not a tacky plastic one). She likes traditional stuff and he does too so I'd like to get something thoughtful and suitable for them. Any ideas?
