I like movies like Hero, Curse of the Golden Flower, House of the Flying Daggers, and of course Crouching Tiger. The problem with all of these films? They all end the same damn way with the main characters dying. I get tired of the poetic, oh so tragic, bittersweet endings after a while.
Seriously, are there any films like those, but with happy endings? Japanese, and Korean films set in old time periods and with fighting will work too.
PS- This should be obvious, but the film doesn't have to be released in US/West.
