There is a world oil shortage and there is a huge oil reserve discovered in the African continent. The US and China send their mililtarys to occupy the lands. Conventional war breaks out over control of the continent. Who wins...no nukes or allies.
I say US the power navy destroys Chinas supply lines....USAF tears through most troops and supplies on continent and USMC and US Army ust the armor and helis to defeat the 'human waves' of chinese troops. What do you think? If you don't like What if questions then DONT ANSWER
i agree the US is caught up too much on tech...tech is good but it didnt turn out too good for Hitler who had the most technologically advanced army in the world at the time...a massive army is hard to defeat but when your supply lines are getting torn up the army is going to fight with out ammo or food...
