Childrens book idea for reign of terror?

you've to write a children book of the reign of terror.

maybe you can write it, like a child story.

An evil man named Osama Bin laden wanna become the ruler of the world but there was a problem named Humanity,

but the Osama or called ´"the ruler" ain't stupid he builds an army and blow the heda base of Humanity up, on the 9/11.

I have to write a children's book for history class about the Reign of Terror, and I'm not sure how to do it because of the gore and everything. Help please?
