My husband has sentenced to 9 years jail for a very serious offence. He confessed first instance and never went to trial. I am prepared to stay with him and try to work on our relationship. I visit him once a week. We have two children (girl 7, boy 6). The children used to come with me on a visit about once a month. They miss their daddy enormously, as he was just ripped out of their lives. My husband has been transferred to a different prison. Now, we have only non-contact visits (behind glass) and the manager has decided that the children are not allowed to come any more. Even to the extent that they are not allowed to write to him any more or talk to him on the phone. My husband is not allowed to mention their names in letters to me or even has photos of them. I have been told, that I am a bad mother for not walking out of my marriage. My husband and I have our own business, he has left all the financial income to me to live a as good as possible life with the children.
Where can I find some official information about the effect on the children
