Childhood indoctrination in Christianity is wrong?

Why don't you also advocate for freedom of choice when it comes to what kind of morality, and education, or bed time, or diet a child should have?

If a child can choose his own religion, then he should also be able to choose those things for himself. . .right?

Or maybe you should choose them for him/her . . .

let others bring up their children trained in the knowledge of God.

I couldn't agree with you more. It really messed me up as a child growing up. In all sincerity. It strips you of your self esteem, your self worth, your self confidence and instead imposes guilt upon you. It teaches self loathing, etc...

It took me years to heal myself from it. But it can be done. :) THAT'S the good news. I did escape in one piece, but just barely! LOL...
 
I'm guessing you are not a Christian. Do Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs and so on not have children? Do they not teach and 'indoctrinate' them too. Knowing that, why is the subject of indoctrination about and Christians, only.
