I don't know what state you are in, but in Ohio, in a resource room all day is not the least restricitve environment for your child.self contained classrooms for a Speech  Disability is rediculous! First you need to contact your parent advocate in your district.  This person (usually) has a world of information for you and can help you a lot.  I would NOT let them send your child to another school or keep him in a self contained classroom!
