A close friend of mine is in the middle of a vicious custody battle between himself and his ex girlfriend, He has residential custody of his daughter.The other 2 children belong to his live in girlfriend.There is alot of he said she said and accusations flying .Her lawyer is threatening contact CPS to remove all the children from the home untill the custody battle is settled and everything is straightened out. even tho the children are in no immediate danger, being abused or neglected . Can CPS remove the children for any other reason besides the ones i have stated?, They are well fed, and are well taken care of.
