>> it goes right to the heart of sort of americans have two ways that we get to influence the world. or our country. one is through our vote and the other is through our dollars and pocketbooks and the companies we support or don't support. the vast majority of the time we don't know very much about the positions of these companies. you know, we buy the least expensive product or the best quality that's closest to hours. in this case, because the president of chick-fil-a has put it on the table that if you put your dollars here, your dollars will be supporting this world view it means -- it makes it political you have to make a choice about how you're spending your money.
