basis of sex? Can anybody help me solve this Question :

Out of the 8000 Graduates in a town 800 are female.
Out of the 1600 graduate employees 120 are females.
Use Chi-squared test to determine if any distinction is made in appointment on the basis of sex.
Value of Chi-squared for 5% level for one degree of freedom is 3.84.

Can anybody help provide a step-by-step solution approach, so that i could understand it better?
