Chevy Silverado 1500 or Ford F150?

2003-2006 models. I'm going to use it as a daily driver and occasionally some towing and hauling. From what I hear the chevy is more dependable, has more HP and better fuel economy, while the ford has more durability and a more of a work truck. I'm interested in a 2005 silverado 1500 4x4 and I want to know if it will do me right. I need some opinions please, anything would be nice. Thanks.
 
Either one is good. If you're going to be looking at Fords, stay with the 2004 and up models. In my view, they're about the same in terms of durability, it's really a matter of your own personal taste.

I have a slight preference for the Ford, because they were upgraded in 2004, and the Chevy had a major upgrade in 2007.
