chevy impala vs. buick regal?

my friend and cousin are arguing over whos car would win in a race. friends got a 1993 buick regal GS 3.8L, and cousins got 2002 chevy impala 3.4L. did some research and both crank out around 170hp but buick is 200lbs lighter. who has the advantage.
 
Depends on the shape of the cars and the motor.
180HP for the Impala. 210 FT/lbs of torque

Regal GS
Everything I found says the Buick Regal GS is 170.
It's going to be a close race.
My vote is on the Impala, just because the motor should be in better shape.
