would the chevy cobalt sedan be just as quick and handle the same as the coupe if they're both the same trim level?

I disagree with the 1st answer. On most cars the 2 door and 4 door variants of a model will be the exact same. Sometimes the 2 door model is sportier and therefore may have a performance suspension for better handling, or an upgraded motor with more power.
Not all 2 door cars are lighter than their 4 door counterparts also.

But to answer your question, assuming you are talking about a brand new model, the Cobalt coupe and sedan should be the same performance and handling-wise. The only difference would be if you were talking about the SS trim level which is faster than any other models.

Neither, they are both total crap for the money you are paying. I had a friend with an 07 cobalt ls and this thing had so many problems that my friend used up all of his sick days for the year inorder to take it to the dealer to get fixed. Problems such as over heating, transmission whine, rough engine idle, premature brake wear, vibrations while driving on the highway. Your question should be should I get a civic coupe or sedan?

coupes (two doors) and sedans (four doors) handle differently, but some like one while others like the other. It's up to you as to how you like the ride. But the coupe's are generally a hair quicker as they are a little lighter.
