I see all over the internet that if I want to put a head unit in my 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt (LS. no onstar) that besides a dash kit and whatnot, I'll need a $120 wire harness.
Apparently its for the chimes/turn signals/dash info center(I don't even have that in my headunit!!)
But then all over the internet some people say you don't need it at all, or it only affects chimes, or you MUST have it. NOOO one can back up what they're saying!
Does anyone know? PLEASE DO NOT say anything if you're not sure, I need solid evidence. (I know whoever installs it for me is going to try to rip me)
