Hello here in NYC it snowed about 7inches last night into this morning with the temperatures a little below freezing. My Voltmeter which reads the battery energy gauge is usually a little past the middle. When I started the car this afternoon, the gauge increased a little. It didn't go into the red area, but was a little more than normal. Is this common in cold weather?
(also a side note, the alarm didn't seem to sound as strong as usual. Is it because there is a lot of snow on the roof of my car, or do you think something is wrong with the battery.
-Is it all in my head? The radio, lights on the inside, lights on the outside, etc all seem to work fine. I just noticed that the voltmeter read a little higher than usual and the alarm sounded a little weaker than usual when I locked up the car.
