I have a 2000 Chevy Blazer LS 4x4. Lately I have gotten the basic wobble during braking that normally says you have a warped rotor. Also since the pedal is just a bit spongy, not much. I figured the pads had worn down and were past the rivets.

But after taking my wheel off, I realized I had plenty of pad left, almost new level. My rotors are not dug or chewed like you would expect. Few minor scratches but nothing major. Slightly shiny but some sandpaper can fix that.

But the front pad looks like it is sitting slightly sideways. The upper or outer part of the pad looks like it is about 1/16th to 1/8th inch off the rotor. Since everything seems fine, and pads are fine. And rotor doesn't feel warped by touch. Could this be just a caliper piston hanging up causing all of these wobble? I believe I have a dual piston caliper. Truck has 158k and they are original still.

Opinions?
