B BdB New member Jun 14, 2009 #2 my dads 92 chevy with a 5.7 tbi idles fast too.....like 1000rpm(used to idle at 650) , we need to replace vaacum lines, the tbi gasket, and clean the tbi injectors....might be the same things with your engine too
