chevy 350 Small Block Intake problem?

HELP???? I have a 1989 Chevy 350 that use to have the TBI system. The cylinder heads the 12 bolt intake,8 straight up and down, (The Center mounting holes) 4 at angle. My question is can I use a Vortec intake aka 8 bolt mount on the 12 bolt mount heads. I was told yes, then I was told no. I cannot seem to find a 12 bolt mount Vortec intake
