i have an 81 cutlass with a stock chevy 350 & for some reason it bogs down like it wants to turn off & gets really hot when im parked idleing for more than 10 minutes & less than 5 if the ac is on or if i get caught up in traffic or a light it starts to bog down & when it bogs down i feel the heat get inside the car around my legs , i check the fan when the car is idleing & it blows good but the thing is its blowing really hot air.
when i turn off the car reservoir starts filling up again
the last major mods i did to the car was install a new edelbrock 600 cfm carb (3 months ago), has an edelbrock intake (came with the car a year ago) , change my sending unit( a month ago) & a brand new fuel pump ( 3 months ago) , new aluminum radiator ( 1 year ago)
also recently when the car is hot or cold when i ever i come to a complete stop & i accelerate normally the car bogs a couple of times in the first 2 seconds then it drives regularly . i dont know if its related to the overheating problem
the radiator is still full the reservoir is at its required level , there are no leaks, i dont have a thermostat , could it be the water pump? , heater hoses? does it have anything to do with my ac. anything could that help me out
thank u in advance
