Ok I am putting together a hi performance 350 I just put the lifters in and some are hard as rocks and some I can push down. I fully submerged all of them in oil and they were all soilid to begin with. Then I did some pushrod and other checks with some of them along with a soilid lifter. I resoaked the soft ones and they wont become soild again. So questions how to I make them all soilid again like they came? or do they need to all be softish ? I dont want to be setting my vavles all wacky cause the lifters are all different so what do I need to do so all my vavles get set right for break in the motor wednesday ?
