Ok im a fairly good mechanic and have been stumped about whats wrong with the vehicles.
1.Chevy
Ok the mechanic that had parked running and let it sit for 10 years then i came in and found out that the wiring had been ripped out so i hot wired the ignition and starter but all i can get is a poot out the carb or exhaust ive tried starting fluid and it has ignition also compression what else could be wrong?

Ok the car sat for 6 years and i dropped a battery in poured some gas in the carb but when i crank i get compression and spark and all i can get is poots out the carb and exhaust its beginning to aggravate me because ive spent hours on both cars and have yet to find the issue im giving fuel and spark also compression but no real firing.
