If the battery's dead immediately after driving, then the problem is your alternator, or the fuse/fusible link between the alternator and the battery terminal.

I installed a remote start alarm and it was working good recently the batery will go dead imidiatly after turning vehicle off I tryed a new batery and to unplug the alarm and it still wont keep charge .. when i jump the truck it will usaly run until shut off then the batery will be dead again. I cant figure out whats draining the batery help plz

um... disconnect remote start alarm,, turn off all accessories .. after this, if battery still drains, connect a current meter to battery remove fuses one at a time and observe drain.. normal drain will be around 50ma at the most.. anything higher than a amp in not normal. it could also be your ignition switch causing this problem..
why the remote start? is it because the ignition switch dont work??
