Around xmas the blazer would not start after it sat for a day. checked spark, checked cap and rotor. finally took the output line off the fuel filter, turned the key on to pump some fuel through, hooked line back up, primed fuel system and started right up. took to GM dealer and they determined it needed a fuel pump. changed fuel pump and started driving. was driving the day after we put pump in and hit the auto 4X4 button. once it engaged and the light went solid everything shut off. the engine shut down lost all power and seemed to almost instantly drain the remaining power from the battery. I have replaced the cap and rotor, check for spark, spark is good and hot. check fuel pressure at the spider injectors and have 58PSI. I have checked the rotor for stripped gears. have checked and double checked all fuses. also removed 4X4 module and tried to restart. tried removing fuel line and restarting as before. looking for any help on where to go next?!

check the specifications for the car because i was having the same problem and my fuel pressure was 60psi i replace the pump and it solve the problem, so check for fuel pressure and the fuel filter to see if is no clock. also try it with the 4x4 switch disconnected
