Chevrolet Engine Decoding?

Can someone tell me what engine I have by the code on the top of the LH bell housing flange. This does not resemble any codes that I have found on the various website lists. The casting is "5.0 LG" and below that "S 6 T" . Thank you for any insight you may offer.

i don't know what 5,0 lg means, but the S 6T is the transmission
